Over the next two weeks, I’ll be sharing three YouTube.com videos featuring unusual gardening techniques.
I may have featured or linked to them before, but I’ve never lumped them altogether in a series. And since I’ve got a lot of new followers over on Facebook, I thought this would be fun way to start a dialogue about unusual approaches to growing food.
First up, this marvelous vid illustrating African keyhole gardens produced by the hunger-fighting British organization Send a Cow.
Can I tell you how badly I want to create one of these in my yard? Lordy, we certainly have enough access to rock in this area and the climate isn’t all that different either.
