Remember my post about improving my housekeeping skills? Well, within the last week two of you have sent me notes of appreciation for that divine li’l Excel spreadsheet that I found via Google.

Seems that I’m not the only one who needed a visual reminder!

By way of update, I’m still more or less on schedule. Okay, being as it’s a writing deadline week for me, it’s actually “less.” But the nice thing about the checklist is that I can see where I stopped and pick up again.

I thought I’d show another project of mine: the reorganization of my pantry. I undertook it in anticipation of getting serious re: homeschooling.

You’ll notice that Target’s $3 milk crates are the backbone of this system. Also pressed into service are my grandmother’s wash basin (to hold dish towels) and an old Dr. Pepper crate (for oils).
