“Homeschool Domination” Seems a Little Much, But Then Look at the Stats

Following up on yesterday’s post about job titles of my survey participants and interviewees, I wanted to share with y’all this really cool infographic that I ran across in my research recently. It’s a big image, so I’m going to resort to using a “jump” in this post so it doesn’t swallow the blog’s main page whole.

I saw this a few weeks back, too, but criticisms launched at it included that the sources for the stats were not impartial, and that a lot of the data came from a homeschool defense organization. Could we see something of where these statistics come from? I’m a homeschool mom myself (and we may have gone to the same high school..go Jaguars) but the Science Academy ethic requires examination of the sources for conflict of interest.
