Aren’t these gorgeous against the blue?
They were near our hotel, and I visited them every day that we were in England.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen cherry trees with blossoms in person, though I’ve been to Washington, D.C. just before and after they bloomed.
I did my best with my tiny camera to capture what it was like to walk under them–to share with my mother when we got back. Sadly, the video isn’t very good. Okay, the sound is DREADFUL.
Still, if you turn down the sound and watch it, you get the general idea.
What a LOVELY way to end my crazy never-ending week…and I don’t mind the blustery London wind-camera-noise. It feels like I am right there! Soooo pretty!
Hurrah! I was hesitant to share it–the video looks better on my laptop–but that blue and pink… it brightens my mood every time I see it. Have a good weekend!!!
You too, Pamela! Yes, there’s something about that sky-blue and shell-pink combo that makes my toes curl 😉
