Micro Review of Miranda Koerner The Cheesecake Queen

I first heard about this book a few months ago when Miranda shared a screen grab of the charming cover. (She’s based here in Texas, like me, and we’re in a bloggers’ group–although we’ve never met in person.) Last week she notified me that I’d won a copy of it from a contest on her blog, A Duck in Her Pond.

Lemme tell you that if you’re looking for a sweet, Hallmark Channel-style romance to breeze through in a couple of hours, then this is THE book to grab for your Kindle this holiday season. It’s squeaky clean and filled with wintry scenes, a dash of magic, and lots and lots of talk about cheesecakes. And cupcakes. Oh, and cookies, pies, and other confections, too. (The only thing missing was a recipe or two or three.)

It was a pleasure to read this e-book confection. In fact, I enjoyed the spirit and vibe of it so much that I even made a Pinterest board in honor of it. (We Texas-based writer gals have to stick together, don’t you know?)

If you’d like to learn more about the book, you can read more on Amazon*.
